Editorial policy

How content is produced

Content on Relationship Books Guide is AI-assisted and human-edited. Drafts are produced with the help of AI tools, then reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by our editorial team before publication.

Sourcing & statistics

Every statistic we publish is verified against a primary source (the original study, official statistics, or the organisation's own reporting) and named in the same sentence it appears. Every book claim is checked against the publisher's own page for that title. Both lists, and the date each link was last opened, live on our sources page. Numbers we cannot trace to a primary source do not get published, and neither do sales figures, chart positions or star ratings.

Independence from authors and publishers

Relationship Books Guide writes about books it has no connection to. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, trained by or connected to any author, publisher, training organisation or estate named on this site, and we hold no certification in any method described here. Nobody whose work we cover has approved, reviewed or paid for a word of it.

We describe what a book argues and paraphrase rather than reproduce it: no questionnaires, no exercises, no reprinted passages. Quotations are short and named to a chapter. There are no retailer links, affiliate arrangements, prices or downloads anywhere on this site — a publisher page is linked so a claim about a book can be checked, and for nothing else.

Corrections

Found an error? Email editors@relationshipbooksguide.com. We correct factual errors within a week, note the correction on the affected page, and update the page's modified date honestly — it only changes when the content substantively changes.

Ownership & funding

Relationship Books Guide is an independent publication. This site is funded by our own products and services promoted to our email list. We do not run paid rankings.

AI transparency

We label AI-generated illustrations, allow AI crawlers to read this site (see robots.txt and llms.txt), and welcome citation of our work with attribution and a link.
